Real Photography is the natural and artistic photographic work of Dawn Hagen-Snover. Her speciality has grown into environmental portraiture and fine art  travel photography.

Over the last decade she has developed a mature relationship with the art of photography through patience, persistence, education, exposure and experience. Dawn earned her BA in Interior Design and Photography from Columbia College Chicago.  Since then,  she has worked in both fields and has traveled extensively throughout the states and Europe. After living in Colorado for two years, she has come to love and respect nature on an environmental level.  She  has learned to  function and identify with the earth and its surroundings in a more delicate fashion. After exploring intimate portraiture formally, becoming a mother of two has only enhanced and embraced the perspective and scope of interest. Portraits are reflective in nature and are her passion!

Each session is customized to fit the personal needs of the client.  Dawn  loves to capture the spirit of each person and strives to eternalize the memory of life’s beautiful, fleeting moments! She welcomes each individual to be themselves by photographing them in a relaxedand natural setting. Each session takes place on location, primarily outdoors. The photos are typically more candid, yet touching.  As a portrait photographer, Dawn fulfills several styles, preferences and is open to your requests and ideas!
